Rietumu Banka is introducing payment cards with a new, modern design for all clients — both individuals and businesses.
The new card design symbolizes Rietumu Banka’s business philosophy, which is based on careful attention to detail with the aim of always finding and offering increasingly better solution to clients.
The new design applies to all Rietumu Banka cards: Visa Infinite, Platinum and Gold for individuals, as well as Visa Platinum Corporate, Gold Corporate, Silver Corporate and Classic Corporate for businesses.
“Rietumu Banka cards offer all modern advantages, ensuring a convenient and secure payment experience both in stores and online. They support Apple Pay and Google Pay, as well as Click to Pay functionality, enabling fast and convenient cashless payments. The new cards reflect the bank’s approach to financial services: thoughtful, precise, and future-oriented,” says Jānis Plikšs, Head of the Customer Service Department of Rietumu Banka.
In addition to core functionality, Rietumu Banka’s payment cards also offer a range of everyday benefits. These include the ability to issue cards for family members, children, and young people, as well as access to various privileges depending on the card level, such as travel insurance, access to airport business lounges, and faster security screening at Riga Airport.
The new cards are made from recycled plastic, thereby supporting Rietumu Banka’s sustainability strategy — the bank consistently implements environmentally friendly solutions and finances renewable energy projects, demonstrating a responsible approach to the environment.
The card design was developed by SIA Brandbox, creating a visual identity that highlights Rietumu Banka’s aesthetics and attention to detail — textures of natural materials and subtle metallic accents in the design symbolically reveal hidden values and finer nuances. The new cards combine the latest technologies with carefully crafted design, ensuring a fast and secure payment experience, ease of everyday use, and sustainable solutions for the environment.
From now on, all newly ordered cards are issued in the new design, while existing cards with the current design can be safely used by the bank’s clients until their expiration date, after which they will be automatically replaced with cards of the new design.
